Fibromyalgia Brain Abnormalities

When I first developed fibromyalgia in 1980, no one could figure out what was wrong. It wasn't until 1993 that I finally got a diagnosis as fibromyalgia was rediscovered.

In reading the News at Google this week, I am interested that they are now able to track brain abnormalities. Fibromyalgia patients show brain abnormalities from the Journal of Nuclear Medicine.

I had read a few days ago about this at the Washington Post's article Scans Reveal Brain Abnormalities in Fibromyalgia Patients.

It looks like the medical field is taking fibromyalgia seriously now.

I hope that will mean new help for those of us experiencing it.
