Changing Weather Hard on Fibromyalgia

The weather that is warm and then cold etc. is hard on fibromyalgia and makes the muscles hurt. As the season starts to change, my body doesn't know what to do as one day is warm and the next day is cold. My muscles cramp up when it is cold. It is like having a charly horse in all of your muscles. I especially feel it around my shoulders and hips.

I try to stay warm by dressing in layers so I can adjust to the changes in the weather throughout the day. That does help some.

I find it especially hard in the fall to go from the warm to the cold. I am not looking forward to winter and the cold temperatures.
