Flu hits harder with Fibromyalgia

After coming home from being out west visiting family, I came down with a local flu that was going around here in Ohio. Another friend had the same experience a few weeks before me.

Unfortunately whenever I come down with a flu, it usually hits me harder. I think this is because of the Fibromyalgia. I was down nearly a week while others were getting over it in 3-4 days.

I find that I have to rest a lot more when I am sick. I missed out on a whole week of activities, having to cancel them all. I also try to drink a lot of water and fluids. I also take garlic oil and oregano capsules.

Today is the first day that I have felt alive again. I hope I am now acclimated again to the local bugs here.
