The first thing that helped my fibromyalgia back in 1980 was my chiropractor who suggested biofeedback training. I found out that I could control my breathing and relax my muscles. I still make use of it today. I highly recommend it. I was hooked up to some leads which went into a box. They had me sit in a nice comfy recliner and try to match my breathing to the sound. I found that it also made me less nervous when I drove my car. I had always hated driving a car and was always nervous before that. That was a nice benefit.
My chiropractor also recommended some herbal products for yeast and the adrenal glands which seemed to help also.
I was a mess back then. I was sleeping 20 hours a day, just getting up to go to the bathroom and eat. My hazel eyes had lots of brown spots and white rings. I had a lot of healing to do.
I did notice that if I slept good and dreamed that I would have a good day. Unfortunately, those days were few and far between. When I had one, I had so much to catch up on that I would overdo and be back exhausted again.
